This is about one person’s opinion on shifts towards sustainable development and I do intend to make it worth your while.

For better decisions towards sustainability, we need to be better informed. To be better informed, we need narratives with depth that present facts with context. This is lacking today

There are many working parts of what is sustainability.

Whether we are talking about environmental impacts, finance’s role, socio-economic interactions, new patterns and trends, biodiversity initiatives with some wider impact, policy decisions positive and negative, real-life cases of approaches gone good and bad, models and tools organizations are using, and more, there’s a lot to unpack.

The Big Green Picture is a punt at addressing this for a better understanding of shifts for sustainable development; through deep-dives of how things work, cases, bite-sized illuminating chunks, and dedications to good and bad policy (I’m mainly expecting the latter) - a reality that is going to need more than a newsletter.
